Hello there! I’m Simon and I have been playing guitar for 24 years, with over 10 years of professional tutoring experience. Teaching from my own Studio I specialise in rock/pop, blues and metal styles including lead/melodic and rhythm techniques from beginner to advance. I also teach acoustic and finger-style guitar playing (flamenco/Spanish, folk and slide).
Completing my diploma as a music practitioner gave me the opportunity to work under the guidance of some top musicians and songwriters. From this I gained a wealth of knowledge in performing, composing and recording. I also achieved my Rockschool grade 8 guitar certificate.
Professional teaching experience - I have taught for Access To Music, assisted students in prep for graded exams and provided guidance on how to compose, write and record music. In addition to this I have also taught GSCE music.
